What kinds of projects, tasks, or challenges do you typically partner with nonprofits on?
I am energized by helping non-profits and the people who run them build their capacity to fulfill their mission. This is something I manifest in many ways, including but not limited to facilitating mergers, mission/vision/values framework, strategic planning, coaching, executive hiring, fundraising strategy, board development, organizational restructuring, training and retreat development, succession planning, HR consulting, and organizational assessments. I am passionate about the success of teams, equity, inclusion, and helping nonprofits create innovative solutions. I am a self-described organizational development and culture geek.
Why would someone choose to work with you?
I have spent the past 25 years working with and for non-profits, with an emphasis over the past decade more specifically on capacity building, leadership development, change management, and impact strategy. I have built non-profit development programs from the ground up for a range of organizations, with budgets from $250,000 to $20M annually, and with local, statewide and international focuses. My expertise includes retreat design and facilitation, strategic planning with an equity lens, coaching, executive hiring, and staff/board/organizational development.
