Blog Post

I’m part of a great network of nonprofit experts called Nonprofit.ist, a source of trusted consultants that nonprofits can connect with for free so they can find the right person for their project.

Experts are invite-only so you know that you’re getting qualified consultants, lawyers and more. That’s part of why I joined the network.

How to Invite Your Colleagues

Our network of experts is invitation-only and we ask for your help in growing that network. Who do you trust? Who do you refer work to? Who should join Nonprofit.ist? We have two ways you can invite your peers.

To invite your colleague yourself:

Please feel free to use the language below and edit as needed. If you have any questions or need more information, contact us at info@nonprofit.ist.

Dear friend:

I'm part of a network that I think you would get a lot of value out of: Nonprofit.ist - https://www.nonprofit.ist/joinexpert. It's an online community of nonprofit experts - consultants, lawyers, coaches, and accountants - designed to help us find more of the right work.

Nonprofit.ist offers:

  • A network of support from your peers, including monthly calls and an experts-only LinkedIn group
  • Access to specialized training and resources just for nonprofit experts
  • A fully customizable and searchable profile in the public directory

Nonprofit.ist was launched in early 2019 and built by invitation only to ensure the network is full of great experts. If you think this could be useful, I’d like to invite you to join at https://www.nonprofit.ist/joinexpert. The founder, Heather Yandow, has offered to answer any questions you have about Nonprofit.ist. You can reach her at heather@nonprofit.ist.

Membership is really affordable - only $149 a year. I hope you'll consider joining me in this community!

To suggest someone for us to invite:

Fill out this simple form with anyone you think would be a good addition to our network. Nominees will get a personal email from Heather that references you. The form allows you to share up to five names and emails. If you have more than five, please email them to heather@nonprofit.ist.
