About Me and My Work
What kinds of projects, tasks, or challenges do you typically partner with nonprofits on?
I teach social sector leaders to overcome people + culture challenges and create engaged, inclusive, and high-performing workplaces. My clients get the tools they need to establish healthy dynamics, eliminate tension, find sustainability in the work, and get everyone back to what really matters—serving the mission.
My clients learn to:
• Stabilize turnover and organizational culture
• Hold staff accountable with trauma-informed techniques, finding that key space between “pushover” and “aggressive”
• End the barrage of demands from employees (4 day work week? Hybrid arrangement? More self-care time?) without increasing unplanned turnover or facing a backlash
• Reduce stress and enhance the sustainability of leadership roles
• Dissolve fault lines between organizational leadership and staff, and actually strengthen trust with employees while they do it
• Increase employee engagement—the single largest driver of productivity—without spending more on “perks”
• Resolve complex interpersonal and team conflicts, including generational divides and issues of equity/inclusion
