About Me and My Work

What kinds of projects, tasks, or challenges do you typically partner with nonprofits on?
Meaningful data is critical to the success of any organization or business. It can inform your decisions, improve your programs and operations, and help you better serve your clients. However, you may not always have the time, the manpower or the training to give data the priority it deserves. Knowledge Advisory Group helps your nonprofit identify the questions that will elicit the most beneficial information, allows you to attack the data process at your own pace and shows you progress along the way. But perhaps most importantly, Knowledge Advisory Group helps you understand how seemingly impossible data tasks can give you the tools to serve your clients more effectively and make a bigger impact in the community. Whether you need to identify the strengths and weaknesses of your organization, build an evaluation strategy to clarify and measure the outcomes the wish you to achieve, improve the efficiency of a process or gauge client satisfaction, Knowledge Advisory Group provides everything from the surveys and interviews to the research, analysis and reporting. We tailor our solutions to your nonprofit so they address your needs, while also saving you time.
Why would someone choose to work with you?
I have been providing program evaluation and measurement services to nonprofits and government agencies for more than two decades. The consultants at my firm, Knowledge Advisory Group, have been called “data geeks with people skills.” That’s because we’re good at rolling up our sleeves and digging elbow-deep into data, but we’re just as good at relating to our clients and making data accessible for them. With our team's collective experience as program and system evaluators, project managers and management consultants, Knowledge Advisory Group has learned to make the seemingly “impossible” data process practical and possible for nonprofits like yours. We allow our clients to take baby steps when tackling a data project, reassuring them that they’ll have the team’s support all along the way. Many organizations and businesses have little experience with data, so we also meet organizations wherever they are at the time. That could mean giving clients effective ways to introduce data into their culture, showing them progress on an issue that is meaningful to them, or placing program managers in a more powerful position with decision-makers.
