What kinds of projects, tasks, or challenges do you typically partner with nonprofits on?

Developmental and Participatory Evaluation and Learning.
Strategy Development - strategic plans and issue/program strategy.
Community Engagement and Organizing - specifically applying Asset Based Community Development principles and practices to the nonprofits' work with its community.
Co-designing meetings and facilitating space for constructive, inclusive discussion and decision making.
Why would someone choose to work with you?
I focus on listening and understanding the overall goal of any engagement . I am clear and transparent about what I understand the goal to be and then co-create a path to that goal. I will offer my experience and expertise informed ideas of how to get there and am happy to adapt them to the organization/community's context in a collaborative and co-creative way.

I have over 30 years of experience in the field and bring lessons from a wide variety of organizations and contexts. This enables me to identify likely strategies for success, tools that will work for you, and potential obstacles in any plan or strategy.

I am clear that I am engaged to make you stronger, successful and more effective. This is not about me. This is especially important and strongly emphasized in multi-cultural environments where I am clear about the difference between my own experience as a White man and the life experiences and contexts of the folks I am supporting.
