About Me and My Work
What kinds of projects, tasks, or challenges do you typically partner with nonprofits on?
I typically partner with nonprofit clients who want help building their organizational capacity and efficacy. My strengths include:
* Helping groups articulate a shared mission and define strategic goals with concrete measures of success
* Facilitating planning sessions and retreats
* Designing strategic advocacy programs to advance progressive policy goals
* Developing and implementing supporter engagement plans
* Assessing and strengthening volunteer programs
* Training organization leaders and members in grassroots fundraising, public narrative, legislative strategy, and related issue advocacy skills
* Coaching campaign staff and grassroots leaders
* Managing campaigns
I also facilitate dialogues within nonprofit organizations that are debating whether to deepen their commitment to base building, supporter engagement, and grassroots leadership development programming.
Within electoral campaigns, I coach candidates on public narrative, lead grassroots fundraising efforts, help field programs build stronger volunteer teams, and mentor field staff and grassroots leaders.

Why would someone choose to work with you?
I bring over a decade of experience building successful campaigns and organizations to advance progressive policy agendas and win electoral campaigns. My approaches draw upon practical training as a nonprofit leader and community organizer as well as theoretical frameworks and historical knowledge gained studying public policy, women’s studies, and the history of U.S. social movements. A champion of many causes, I’m most passionate about creating strategic opportunities for marginalized populations to participate in substantive, collective advocacy for themselves and winning, together.
