About Me and My Work
What kinds of projects, tasks, or challenges do you typically partner with nonprofits on?
Typical projects have been creating first-ever curriculum or enhancing existing curriculum that strengthens volunteer training or staff capacity building in person (face-to-face) or virtually by uploading the curriculum to a learning management system (LMS).
Additionally, other projects have been creating supplemental curriculum where an organization offers an education or learning program that is not usually offered in schools or by the community. Therefore, the supplemental curriculum addresses this gap of skills or knowledge. These are a few examples of previous projects - job skills for international students, health and beauty workshops that include mental health for young female students, policy awareness for domestic violence volunteers, simplifying governance processes and succession planning for volunteer board members.

Why would someone choose to work with you?
I have a foot in two worlds, so to speak: education and nonprofit. I have almost a decade of adult teaching experience working with multiple cultures as an English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor.
Alongside presenting at several conferences about utilizing effective learning strategies, the importance of understanding empathy and culture, as well as how to best incorporate interactive learning, I combine my nonprofit experiences working with smaller nonprofits to be your teacher, guide, coach, and most importantly, support, to help you create curriculum that can be enjoyed by your learners and produce your desired outcomes.
