Hi, I'm Dave Manning.

I started Grow Meaningful because I want to live in a world where most people wake up feeling INSPIRED by meaningful work, CONNECTED with their communities, MOTIVATED to be better, and EXCITED for what's ahead.

As a nonprofit organizational development consultant, I help nonprofits get better at what they do. I collaborate with nonprofit leaders dedicated to reaching their organization's full potential as meaningful community-builders, workplaces, and brands, so that together we can aspire for a peaceful, equitable, humanist world.

Organizational development (OD) is a purposeful, science-based effort to improve the capabilities, effectiveness, and culture of an organization (aka, "people, processes, and performance"), and works incredibly well before, during, and after strategic planning (especially for those plans which are a little light on action planning, change management, and/or implementation support).

I love helping nonprofit leaders:

* reach their nonprofit's potential with purpose
* see new possibilities amid complex issues
* bring people and ideas together
* work through problems that have no clear solutions
* create more effective, adaptable, and resilient organizations
* grow meaningful brands, workplaces, and communities

I do my best work with curious, lighthearted (mission work is too heavy not to bring a sense of humor with us), low-ego individuals with growth mindsets ready to challenge the status quo. If you think we might be a good fit, I hope you'll reach out!
