About Me and My Work
What kinds of projects, tasks, or challenges do you typically partner with nonprofits on?
Nonprofit leaders driven by passion for their area of focus often get their management training indirectly - they meet situations as they arise, and with experience, get stronger over time. My passion is equipping leaders with empirically based skillsets that define courageous leadership, creating cultures in which trust, curiosity, innovation, and collaboration can thrive, enhancing the ultimate goal: service delivery.
Why would someone choose to work with you?
As a coach who also has a doctorate and 30 years of experience practicing clinical psychology, I bring a wealth of expertise about human behavior to our relationship. I have also served as Executive Director and Clinical Director of 3 nonprofits, and have experienced first hand the challenges of leading both small rural and large urban organizations. I'm an excellent listener, with a warm and collaborative style.
