About Me and My Work

What kinds of projects, tasks, or challenges do you typically partner with nonprofits on?
My goal is to help your organization build your capacity for data collection and analysis. I offer four primary services: survey review/consultation, data analysis support, project design and implementation, and the Nonprofit Data Needs Assessment.

-Survey review is for organizations that would like expert feedback on surveys going on to clients, staff, board members, and other stakeholders.
- Data analysis support is for organizations that have data on hand, but need help analyzing and communicating the results
- Project design and implementation is for organizations in the beginning stages of designing a research project and want a project partner to help plan and implement the process
- The Nonprofit Data Needs Assessment is a mission-focused, staff-driven process that will uncover your organization's data needs that will help you effectively and accurately demonstrate impact.
Why would someone choose to work with you?
My work is about fully understanding the causes of complex problems to find the best solutions. I do this using my extensive research and data analysis experience, viewing my work through a lens of inclusivity and prioritizing the role of listening with empathy and kindness.

Before becoming a consultant, I spent 13 years in the nonprofit and public sectors. Like so many in these worlds, I wore many hats: program manager, event planner, database guru, research analyst, and policy advocate, to name a few. Now, as a consultant, I bring these experiences, values, and research skills to help nonprofits understand the root causes of their challenges to develop the right solutions. I specialize in:

-Developing data strategy plans for nonprofits
-Uncovering root causes of organizational challenges and providing research-based solutions
-Providing research and data analysis support for nonprofits, such as survey design/implementation, focus group facilitation, and qualitative analysis

I honed my research and problem-solving skills through the University of Massachusetts Boston Public Policy Ph.D. program. I received a Master’s in Urban and Regional Policy from Northeastern University, a B.S. in Special Education from Boston University, and a B.A. in Linguistics from Boston University. When I’m not diving deep into data, you can find me at my local powerlifting gym, trying to break 225lb on my deadlift, or watching horror movies with my dogs, Penny and Lucy.
